“The greatest privilege of a lifetime is to be who you are”

Joseph Campbell

Acupuncture found me as I began exploring Tai Ji Chuan, yoga, natural food and massage.  I had entered college with the idea that I would become a medical doctor.  As my experiences and education progressed I realized that health and life do not have to focus on dis-ease as in the Western Medical model.  Rather than reaching for a pill or treatment that hides the body`s calls for relief, why not learn to listen to that wisdom?

Mine has not been a clear or easy path.  I took the scenic route doing my best to not listen to various symptoms, pretending my discomfort was my body`s fault and refusing to release habits that kept me stuck where I was.

Acupuncture, massage, moxibustion, yoga and taiji have remained in my personal bag of tricks.  My body and wellbeing have become a precious garden that I love tending and obvserving all day, everyday!  I hope that you too can enjoy your own path to vibrant health!
